We pride ourselves in having a consistent and knowledgeable staff team. We attract and retain high quality, and highly qualified experienced staff and as a setting, we are committed to the personal and professional development of each individual member of our team. Training and knowledge is shared and cascaded between all of our educators to ensure we have the most recent insights and use theory to support our practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All staff are DBS checked before taking up their position within \u00a0the nurser and safer recruitment practices are always followed. All Early Years Educators and Practitioners hold a certificate in Paediatric first aid. The team are based in set rooms to enable consistency for children to build their attachments and for tailored practice for each child’s needs, learning and development. We have our own practitioner who is employed by the nursery who covers any staff absence or holiday. Each room has a highly qualified and experienced Room Supervisor who supports their team and are based in the room to ensure high quality practice .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Designated Safeguarding Leads are Sarah Stewart, Jo Salter and Tracey Stibbons who attend regular courses to remain informed of any updates and changes to legislation. All staff have received safeguarding training which is refreshed to ensure a safe culture for children and babies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinators are Natalie Cocking and Ellie Ockenden who are responsible for the day to day operation of the nursery\u2019s SEND policy and have both undertaken Portage and SENDCo training.\u00a0 They work closely with other professionals to ensure that the needs of the children are met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Early Years Education leaders are Sarah Stewart and Natalie Cocking who both hold Early Years Teacher Status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
