Opening Times & Fees

The nursery is open five days a week for 51 weeks of the year from 8.00am to 6.00pm (longer hours available on request). However, we are closed on Bank holidays, between Christmas and New Year, and 1 day during the summer for our annual outing.

The nursery may also be closed in severe weather conditions to ensure the safety of the children, parents, carers and staff.

Parents are asked to check the KCC website at www.kent.gov.uk for updated information/confirmation of any such closures.

Fees

Our fees reflect the high standards of care that we provide and learning and development opportunities available to children provide by knowledgeable, experienced and caring staff.

Eligible 9 month old, 2 year olds, *3 & 4 year olds are entitled to Government Funding 

Payment

We request that payment be made in advance on the first day of each month. We can arrange for this to be done by standing order if preferred.

*From the term after your child’s third birthday you will be entitled to receive the free 15 hour per week universal Government Funding. Eligible parents may also claim the extended ‘Working Parent Entitlement’ 15 hours funding.  This may be used in one or more settings providing the total number of hours does not exceed the 15/30 per week. At the Farningham Day Nursery a total of 6 hours may be used in any one day. From September 2026, a total of 10 funded hours may be used in any one day.
◊ As we are closed between Christmas and New Year, fees are only applicable for 51 weeks of the year.
◊ All prices are inclusive of nappies and meals (not infant milk formula) within non-funded days.
◊ We offer a sibling discount of 10% per non-funded day for the eldest child attending the nursery on the equivalent number of days as the younger child.
◊ All children are offered two free settling-in sessions before their agreed start date at the nursery.
◊ Fees are subject to annual review.

Our notice period for termination of place or reduction in days is 28 days written notice.
