Fees & funding
We understand that nursery funding and fees can be complicated.
We aim to make our charges as clear as possible and are happy to discuss your individual circumstances with you.
Fees are due in advance on the first day of each month.
Funded hours
From the term after your child’s third birthday you will be entitled to receive the 15 universal Government funded hours per week, over 38 weeks.
Eligible parents of children aged over 9 months old may also claim the ‘Working Parent Entitlement’ 30 hours funding. This may be used in one or more settings providing the total number of hours does not exceed the 15/30 per week.
From September 2026, eligible children can use 10 funded hours per day (8am-6pm) over 38 weeks of the year, subject to eligibility and the relevant funding arrangements.
As funding eligibility can change, we recommend discussing your circumstances with us before confirming your child’s nursery place.
Chargeable extras
Our current chargeable extras for funded sessions are:
Meals & snacks – £11.20 per day – This includes breakfast, snack, milk, a two-course hot dinner and a two-course tea in the afternoon.
Consumables – £3.50 per day – This includes items such as nappies, nappy disposal, wipes/cotton wool and other everyday nursery consumables.
Additional services – £2.80 per day – This contributes towards additional experiences and activities such as planting, cooking, French lessons, animal experiences, music and movement sessions, animal experiences, local trips and seasonal events and gifts.
Total chargeable extras during funded sessions – £17.50 per day.

Non-funded sessions
The nursery operates for 51 weeks of the year, with the 13 non-funded weeks charged at the applicable full-day rate where funded hours cannot be used.
Additional ad hoc days may be available subject to availability.
