Keeping children safe
The safety and wellbeing of every child is central to everything we do.
We have safeguarding procedures in place and ensure staff receive appropriate training and understand their responsibilities.
Our Designated Safeguarding Leads receive regular training and keep up to date with relevant requirements.
Our Policies
Nursery policies are shared with parents prior to your child’s start date.
Parents can request copies of our nursery policies.
These include policies and procedures relating to areas such as:
- Safeguarding and child protection
- Health and safety
- Medication
- Food and nutrition
- Behaviour
- Equality and inclusion
- Special educational needs and disabilities
- Complaints
- Emergency procedures
- Collection of children
- Data protection and privacy
Policies are reviewed regularly and updated where necessary.
Inclusion
Every child is an individual.
We aim to provide an inclusive environment where children of different backgrounds, abilities and needs are welcomed, supported and valued.
Our SEND team works with families and other professionals where additional support may be appropriate.
